The number of Americans ages 65 and older is projected to nearly double from 52 million in 2019 to 95 million by 2060, and the 65-and-older age group's share of the the total populations will rise from 16% to 23%. Because of this rise in our geriatrice population, this symposium will be filled with information on what is currently affecting our geriatric population and their families.
Target Audience: APRNs, RNs, LPNs, Social Workers, Social Services Designees, Nursing Home Administrators, and other allied Health Professionals.
Speaker topics will include dementia and behaviors, case studies of potential crimes in nursing homes and preserving potential evidence, deterring drug diversion, life enrichment and engaging with seniors and more!
This Symposium is sponsored by Clinkscales Elder Law Practice, P.A. and The University of Kansas Medical Center Area Health Education Center-West.
